It’s true! February 14th aka Valentine’s Day should be dubbed “Mistress Day”. The reason for this is because if your spouse, boyfriend, girlfriend, or partner is having an affair, this is the day they will meet up with their lover – guaranteed. In fact, you’re cheating spouse or significant other will have already met with their lover to give them their gift, which will be much more expensive than the gift you will receive. Why? Because a typical excuse, such as “I have to work late.” won’t fly on the day of love. AND the new “squeeze” is where all your guy or gal’s attention is – so the more extravagant gift it is. It’s usually sexy lingerie and romance for her and the obligatory flowers for you. Noel Biderman of the cheating website, Ashley Madison.com, says that 79% of male cheaters will spend February 13th with a mistress and February 14th with their partner.
